Greg Wise – Publisher of Under Par Golf Media, over the past 18-years has been a frequent contributor to “Golf Central Magazine..,” A freelance golf writer and photographer and graphic designer. He brings a unique style of writing golf features, covers professional events, destination stories as well as equipment reviews, and clothing to Under Par Golf Media, for a new and vibrant feel.
Beverly his wife of 50 years… spent here career in the Banking Industry, and has recently retired to take on the role of keeping Greg in focus with this new venture ahead of these two. She has quickly gotten in to the Fashion Side of the Game Industry. She is quickly becoming an accomplished photographer as well. Her focus is people. Close up are a true blessing for designing creative pages and setting the mode of the posts and pages.
Having played golf for more than 50 years, Greg brings an interesting view to the game of golf with a single digit handicap and a very smooth swing. His eye for photographs of courses, help sell his philosophy that a “picture is worth a 1,000 words.” “Getting the reader in to the photo is my main goal.”
Extending his passion for golf, Greg extended his time and talents to The First Tee of Greater Ocala for 4 years. The organization transferred to Marion County Junior Golf 2-years ago. Serving as a President, Director, and Executive Director for 6-years, Greg’s decision to leave the board in mid-2022 was a difficult choice.
Greg and Beverly are members of the Golf Writers Association of America, the Golf Travel Writers Association, and the International Network of Golf.
